My approach to Personal Development incorporates skills of Counselling, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Life Coaching, Thought Pattern Management (TPM) and areas of research related to psychology in understanding cognitions, behaviours, consciousness. Also, and equally significant, is trance work /meditation / mindfulness for peace and calm.
All of which I use in my practice and can help enable you to gain understanding, to work towards resolution, healing and learning.
NLP looks at the neurological processes of how we gather information usually through our senses, hearing, touch, feelings, smells, tastes, and our mind filters this information into meaning resulting in generalisations, deletions and distortions. Often our feelings inform our thoughts.
NLP takes how we have learned to live our life, productively or otherwise, and with guidance can use the same processes to reverse negative thoughts, patterns of behaviours, which causes us to get stuck. Similarly, TPM takes the form of trance work, akin to hypnotherapy, and can help with fears, phobias, anger and many more.
Life Coaching looks towards performance, goals and you can feel supported and encouraged to address areas of self-belief, limited beliefs, lack of direction, focus, work life balance, better relationships, the freedom to speak in a confident manner - presentation and voice work.
